The event in Cluj took place from Octomber 1st to Octomber 6t, 2024, at Centrul de Interes, with the final public event on October 5th.
BEDS.Cluj is funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut through Culture Moves Europe and Suomen Kulttuurirahasto The Finnish Cultural Foundation and will be realized in collaboration with Centrul de Interes, Faculty of Fine Arts and Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Theatre, Performing Arts, Cinematography and Media.
On May 29th, the official start of Beds.cluj was marked by BEDS: An Introduction, the first meeting of artists Lucia Bricco, Iulia Ghiță, Lukas Kolm, and Antti-Juhani Manninen with students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Babeș-Bolyai University's Faculty of Theatre, Performing Arts, Cinematography, and Media. The artists introduced the work idea of BEDS and discussed with the students the architecture of concepts, freedom in imagination, the idea of individuality, and that of the the imponderability of the future. The meeting was coordinated by Ovidiu Leuce, Associate Professor PhD of the PAPD section of UAD and President of the Federation Interest Center.
