Beds.ROUNDTALK#1 is part of Beds.athens Performance Art event happening in Athens from Sep 29th to Oct 4th, 2021.

The ROUNDTALK starts from the assumption of the insufficiency of explanation (proper to the presentation of the work of art and human manifestations in general) and the one-sided non-creative focus it generates.

The talk took place in  Potential Project art space.

Performing Eating is the opening dinner of Beds project, an invitation to think together about the rituals, politics, and aesthetics related to one of the most common performances we are all part of everyday - eating.

Organized by Antonin Brinda and Klaudie Osičková.

Beds.ROUNDTALK#2 seeks to combine the openness of interpretation and multiplicity of layers of performance art with the linearity of the construction of an object.

The talk took place in Noucmans art space, Athens.

The whole project has and intends to have a strong human character.

Beds intends to touch the issue on different levels, by intersecting the "structure" of an artistic event with human fact and current realities that have determined and determine the past and contemporary history of the city it lands in.

Beds refers to the concept of "Humanitas" and as a natural consequence of the approach adopted  combines the art expression with the creation of a direct contact between the artists and some of the realities that are facing humanitarian problems, in this case in refugee camps around Athens.

Workshops part of Beds events with art students and participants in collaboration with: Performance Studio of the Department of Fine Arts, School of Art, University of Western Macedonia, Florina, Greece; LUISS Business School in Rome, Master of Art course; Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, Multimedia and Technological Arts course.
